Another month. This one opens with the wound that never heals completely. Are you feeling its effects? The month ahead offers the opportunity to loosen its grip. Indeed to slip from its hold. The plans you have formulated face the rigors of reality. As ever reality’s first hurdle is the past.
Will the wound that never heals completely sabotage your best efforts? Will it take you back to the furrows you have ploughed before, ground you have abandoned as too stony, or simply needing a fallow year?
This month message says very simply- healing is more than possible. It is your growth edge. It is your obligation, and, it is your path of pleasure too. Look for healing in a sense of space. Create spaciousness around you and the effects will – almost magically – bind and allow that wound to heal. Then power, joy and satisfaction will have their way.

The Wound That Never Completely Heals
The past is jumping
On my grave -
Thump, thump, thump.
It’s calling me, pushing
Me towards a cold confinement,
Driving me into the frosty earth.
Now the river is still.
Its dark, silent depths obscured.
Its surface is barely broken
By the beating oars
Of the racing row boats
That flash across its
Glittering but opaque face.
I am listening for your voice.
Silence. Instead, the hills call,
And the lines of the land
Whisper their wisdom-
Space, space, space.
O- you are speaking to me!
Pure oxygen pours into
The wound that never
Completely heals and works
Its blessed ways,
Bringing color to my cheeks
And tender succor to my heart.
Now ripples float away
From the pull of the oars.
Suddenly the river’s surface
Is alive as the past recedes.
The air is light with
The hint of spring and
Coming blossom. The
Curve of the hills is sweet,
And I see signs of you
In the regeneration everywhere.
O -thanks be given!
Go well, be well. May the month ahead bring you peace and joy.
