Intuitive Month
24th September 2009
It’s time again for my intuitive take on the month or four weeks ahead.
And this month’s EnergyLinkUp, or ELU follows my intuitive take on the month. Read the ELU notes on how to use it. It’s a poem (or a koan as a wise friend said to me) to reinforce the meaning of the Intuitive Month’s message. So, read on:
A time of balance is approaching. It is as if you have been dealing with varying degrees of chaos- some of them very fertile indeed, others backward looking and reminders of a past that no longer serves you. Or you have been wavering, undecided. But all that is being eclipsed in the next week or two. Instead- balance, and renewed vigor are calling to you.
“Balance” means the desire and the imperative to find a place of harmony. In its positive form that can be immensely “grown up”- real mature behavior. In its negative form, it can mean simply sitting on the fence. Don’t sit on the fence. Use all your persuasive powers, your intellect and the great force of your heart to strive for balance, an empowered balance. Take decisions where necessary; forge paths if you need them. But always strive to keep, or establish, equilibrium.
That does not mean compromise at any cost. Compromise can reek of disempowerment. There’s an expression “everything matters but nothing matters terribly”. It is sometimes trotted out to deal with romantic agonies, or awful emotional excesses. It has its virtues. When the heart is out of balance, feelings can run away with you and rivers can run red. However, it can also be stifling – a memento of a crippling gentility.
Everything matters. It matters greatly, not terribly. The enormous responsibility, and joy, facing us all is to find the place of balance, to hold all that matters so much in a powerful balance.
Well, for approximately the next four weeks, that is our task. It will be followed by significant change. So, use this opportunity to put all in order, before the change that is coming. And make it useful, productive order. Don’t bury issues under the pretense that you are ordering and balancing the situation. Shake them out, wash and iron them and put them away in good condition to be used again. Then all will be balanced. The force will be behind you!
Go well, be well- with love and best wishes,
Michal
The Rhythm and the Balance
The rhythm of the waves beats an
Irregular pattern as the swell
Crashes onto the shore. Sometimes
It’s deceptively meek, a watery blue,
Where I see your face reflected.
Sometimes wild and hungry almost oranges,
And muddy browns, do the devil’s work.
Then I jump at their fearsome collision,
Dodging hundred upon hundreds
Of gallons of water carrying
Sharp needles that graze my skin,
While applying an antiseptic
Salt burn at the same time.
But now my pace changes.
As if the magnet that drives the tides,
Drives me too.
I hear the rhythm anew.
It beats seven times, in the swells
Before repeating the pattern.
Over and over again.
Then the numbers change, but
Still I hear the rhythm. No surprises
Take me unaware.
I slow my pace
And see the waves with different eyes.
No ravenous power threatens me,
No harsh breakers assail me,
But a great force unfolds
Playing with its power
Backwards and forwards.
Offering me the energy of a millions facets-
Reflecting all the shades of the sky
Above and the sandy bed below.
So you turn to me and sing
To my soul, till I hear your melody
And finally recognize the tune.
How sweet is the sound.
Travel well,
Go well, be well.
