Inspiration

This is my intuitive take on the month ahead. I am sorry not to be writing personally to my loyal subscribers- but this way, as I have explained before, not only can I reach out to more people, but also I can write more often (as I have been). Please do not hesitate to let me know your reactions.

So, in the northern hemisphere the summer is ending, in the southern hemisphere the winter is drawing towards a close. But has it been, is it, a season of love, or of sickness? What does the month ahead hold?

For some of us the original summer of love was a time of immense possibility. It was the wonderment of adolescent, the sense of omnipotence colliding with a universal energy that offered boundless horizons. Of course realism was the missing ingredient.

I raise the summer of love because the month ahead may show the shadow side of that earlier flower power, in some ways. The question of realism is all around. Is it real? What is real? How to shape reality? The power and the passion may be the same- you may well experience intense bouts of emotion- but the specter of realism looms large. What to do? How to make it real?

I suspect indecision will be the order of the day for many of us, and I have no problem with that.

If its indecision you feel, then stick with it. Don’t try to force a solution, yet. Mercury moves retrograde in September (the 7th -29th) you will be going over past decisions, or fine print, or details of your life or work. This is purification time, and realism in action.

At the same time, as August moves into September, you may experience malice or projection from others. Indeed, you may have already experienced this, but it is not over. This is a time when many are unwilling to own their issues- for want of a better word. This may be apparent in business or in your private life. It’s no use trying to make those people understand, or “hear” you. But it’s important that you stay realistic. Just because an accusation is made, does not mean you need to answer it. Indeed you must not! And you must not allow it into yourself, it is the other’s issue.

Draw on the passion of the moment to hold the vision of possibility before you. Use the grinding sense of realism to strengthen your vision and your offering to the world. Be prepared to wait a little while before you put it into action. You will be stronger, and your presence more powerful, for reflection and engaging with the purification process, or reality test.

One aspect of reality that may be particularly testing is illness. It is as if many of our bodies are being tried now. In simplest terms I believe this is because, as I first said more than twleve years ago, the vibrations are changing. The vibrations on planet earth are quickening- see how quickly changes in the economic and financial situation are swirling around us? Similar changes are besieging our bodies. I suspect we are coming into contact with many different viruses and bacteria- if that is the correct description. (The late Sir Fred Holye, English astronomer was one of the first to speak about viruses coming from outer space). Of course different people react differently, but for many our bodies cannot react quickly enough, the normal process of developing immunities – physical evolution- is impaired. So, if this is a testing time physically, take it step by step.

Nonetheless, physically, emotionally and cognitively, in the inner and the outer realms, you are facing real positive developments at the end of this time of reality testing and realism. There is great strength and energy ahead! Prepare yourself.

I turn my eyes to myself,
My inner vision scans my body,
Till a movement across its surface
Draws me to the mirror
At my heart.

Ripples, in fluid colors-
Every mercury shade
Races over the surface
Of my heart, that is like a mirror.
Quickly they form a myriad
Heavy liquid peaks, solid
For a moment, before they fracture into
Sharp angles and angry words; heavy water
Scatters over the surface of the mirror
Only to come together again
To repeat the process.

This picture at my heart
Is one perspective on the World,
The state of my reality.
I must watch, see puppets, not people.
Observe – guard my full feelings.
Meanwhile, above the world of power
And performance my High Heart beats.
It offers me a glorious cloth,
A diaphanous, multi colored river,
A gossamer gale
That moves through my fingers
And covers my heart, as I
Wind it – around and around.

I offer my Love to myself,
And to the world,
The sweet knowing and
Deep empathy of my
High Heart that holds
The gossamer reality
Of my soul and protects
Me in the everyday,
Allowing me to move
Towards the Source:
To be with the beginning
And the end, to be at
The place of all power
And none.
To be with you in my heart, and
In every day’s reality.

Travel well.

Go well, be well.
