Intuitive Month 19th July 2010

Hello, it is very good to be connecting with you again, especially as so much has been happening for most of us. Have sibling issues been up for you? Or painful power struggles? Let them go. Whether or not you want to, you have to.

Recent days (perhaps even weeks) and the days to come are a great time of birth. Birth, for those of us who have literally, physically given birth to children is rarely completely easy or pain free. However, the amazing fact is that once the baby is born, the joy and love that flows wipes out any of the proceeding struggle (unless you are unlucky enough to face complications, like post natal depression). Well, think of this as the birth. Much blood can be shed. Sometime surgery is even necessary. There is all the drama of a crisis. But, the result will be worth it. Sometimes, it is short, sharp and sweet, that could be your experience too. In that case any passing pangs will be forgotten even more quickly.

Then, I am going to be very practical. There is another issue to face, and it is vital. It is the delivery of the after birth. In childbirth, after the baby is delivered the next stage is the delivery of the afterbirth. This is the placenta and the elements in which the fetus was nurtured and grew: those parts of your life that you no longer need. They may have been vital to the growth, but once your “baby” is born- or your project, or next stage of endeavor, launched- it is vital that they are expelled. Their use is over. If they remain in the body they will cause grave danger.

Make sure that you have expelled any elements of your past that do not nurture and feed your future – even if they were important to your past. Of course it may feel uncomfortable to leave behind something that you feel was important, but often it’s the perspective on the importance that matters.

Look closely and you may see that it was not as important as you thought. (Maybe even a hindrance and not a help).

Realizing this frees you and makes it easier to let go. If on the other hand it seems as if what you are leaving behind played a vital role, and you are sorry- or even guilty- in letting go, then be sure to give gratitude. Thanks and humility are very powerful, and ultimately cornerstone tolls of transformation.

Gain ground now. Press ahead, spiritually, imaginatively, in your dreams and desires if the everyday does not allow room for advance, or your body needs or wants to rest or play. You can claim the place, and the space you need, even if you cannot physically own it now. Enjoy the summer- if you are in the Northern hemisphere, or perhaps the bracing winter if you are in the southern part of the world.

Birth, and Afterwards – ELU 19 July 2010

You are born, my dearest one,
Blood of my blood flesh of my flesh
You look at me with your
Dark blue eyes that
Hold my image and my dreams,
My dazzling love, my dearest desires.

You will be my greatest teacher,
You will hold my darkest
Secrets in your wake,
You will be the cause of
My deepest sorrows, and
My wildest joys. You
Are my past, as you hold
The very seeds of my future.

Nine months within my body
Separated by a thin pulsating
Wall, sharing blood and flesh,
The line between us
Will slowly grow again.
This time, a firmer boundary
As the years pass,
And your crackling energy
Pushes impatiently past the
Shady confines of the willow
That is my spiritual sanctuary.

May you grow in wisdom and
Strength, beauty and humility.
May you serve as you reap, create
As you harvest. May the sun bless this,
My endeavor, and the moon
Nourish it with inspiration
And the power of dreams.

May I own and honor all
This potential, in my journey
Past the confines of myself –
My birth into my future.
