The eyes are the windows of the soul. Today the stitches holding my right eye closed were removed. My eye opened – another window on the world! Some of you may know that I have been having surgery as part of the ongoing process of looking after my right eye damaged by the brain tumor operation I suffered many years ago. Forgive me for my silence as the process has taken over.
As ever, the genius that can be surgery amazes me. Though my eye is much reduced in size at the moment, I am exulting in the blessing of vision. Of course, with my eye closed and the interaction with the physical form of world outside diminished, the world of the other senses, and the greater world of beyond, strengths. But today, the blessings of peace and joy smile from both eyes. May you share those blessing. Michal.
