The time of desire is upon us. As the nights lengthen and leaves turn in the western hemisphere, the language of love is in the air. In the southern hemisphere the heat is rising, too – albeit a different heat. But it goes to the same place. This is a month before all else to recognize and acknowledge your real desires, in the cradle of love (that’s the complex part of it.)
Part of the process is not only knowing what you want -and need- but perhaps what you need less of, or differently.
Its not necessarily an either or choice you’ll be making (or just have). The month’s message very rarely needs you to exclude something, someone, a dream, or a practice- though it may need a change of attitude. My friend Ken Wilber’s wonderful phrase “transcend and include” is so often the best dictum. But now you need to choose the “weighting” of your love. How much to give to the different aspects of your life? Which passions do you want to pursue? How much to the new that you are bringing to life? And how much to the old? At all times though honor and truth must be aligned to your desire.
Give honor where it is necessary. Acknowledge desire, but be sure let love, with all is knowledge of responsibility, lead. You can make strong efforts now to allow your life to be shaped by the reality of what it is you love and desire, providing you are sure of the honor and truth of that desire. (No wild flights of fantasy that ride rough shod over others needs! Or your duty!). You choose your heart’s path; and watch the signs around you as you follow that choice.
It’s also a month where art and beauty may play their part too. You may be particularly susceptible to the energy that comes together in the construction or revelation of beauty. Perhaps this will be a month where you will see truth and beauty align?
Finally this month may bring positive finances too. I hope it does just that for you.

Ringed by trees and built of wood,
The unexpected seemed to happen.
